Just checking in on all of you, that is amazing growth! Hope Logan feels better and Layton can avoid all these germs as it finally warms up here in the midwest! Hugs to you all, Jill
Great news! Layton looks excellent in his Spring picture. I think Karroll and I are so tired and don't wake up to change him; therefore, we end up with a wet bed every other morning. Major is sleeping in our bed so our sheets get changed frequently. I wonder if he will ever potty train with all that fluid in his body. We are scheduled for his 1 year biopsy on July 10, 2009. We are going to CA as a family and spending about 10 days out there. Hugs to you all!
Stephanie
Glad to hear Layton is doing so well. We just left California in April, we were thankfully only there 1 week. Callie had a heart cath and we got good news, so she didn't need another surgery just yet. We return in September for another heart cath. Enjoy your summer with the boys:)
Yay! So glad things are going so well! I always smile when I read your journal..thanks for keeping us updated! Your and Lee's night-time routine sounds suspiciously similar to Dave and my night-time routine! We do diaper changes at 1:00 am and 4:00 am. I do the 1:00 am and Dave does the 4:00 am. Julian still has the NG tube also, we run him all night and then give him 500 more ml during the day, + all that he drinks. Since Julian's b-day is in October we opted to put him in kindergarten in August of 2010. We're going back in May for his 1-year biopsy. Skipped the 6 month due to a bladder infection. Hope we have no prograf toxicity! Julian stays around 5 in his bloodwork.
Talk to you later!
Stacy
What great news, Leah! Sounds like being home is helping him heal and grow, too. He's a brave little boy and you and Lee are extraordinary parents to have brought him through this life-saving ordeal.
Love to you both.
Mary

Leah, I hope you are bearing up with all this adversity heaped upon you. Your dad's death came as such a shock to me -- I was very fond of him and remember him as a little kid and as a teenager, and then 2 years ago at the Addie family reunion in Wisconsin. He will be greatly missed. I hope your mom is doing OK. It's hard to wake up and know you'll not see your spouse that day or the next, or ever. When my husband Mike died 12 years ago I kept expecting to see him when I woke up in the morning -- he continued to inhabit my dreams and that was very comforting. Time helps a whole lot. Please give your mom my love, and know that my prayers are with you all.
My the angels came for your Dad and he is in eternal rest. It is hard to accept but your faith will keep you and family strong. How is Layton and Lee doing in Calif. for the check ups? we have you in our thoughts.
take care and one day at a time sure helps. Joyce
Hey guys - just checking in to say hi and say we are thinking about you all. Hugs! Deb, Kent, Skye and Kamper
