You remain in our thoughts and prayers everyday. Danny said after we got home from church Sunday. Wish we could just go and see Layton. Thank you for all the informative notes. It calms our hearts to hear from you knowing you are in the very very best care. What a "Trooper" you all are. Tell Layton Danny wishes he could come play cars with him like they did at his house.Talk to your mom often and wait for news from you. Hugs and love to you all.

Glad to hear Layton's creatine level is dropping. Hopefully things will begin to slow down so you all have time to nap and relax a bit and get better each day. You remain in our thoughts and prayers!

I am praying in agreement with you - his creatine numbers are going down. And I can see why it was good for Layton to see his kidney and you too. It is great the doctors take care of so many details.

We will say a prayer for Layton. I don't think it's weird at all to see the old kidney. I want to do the same thing. I guess you have to be a transplant patient or parent to understand. By the look of his kidney I can see you were reasured. Take care of yourself.
Keeping up the prayers for you all. Incredible pictures of the kidneys - I find it all fascinating too. Hopefully that will put your heart and mind at rest that you ARE doing the right thing! You are all so incredible!

Your are in our prayers. I know that everything is okay. Major did the exact same thing 4 days after the SP was removed. Push the fluids and you will see the creatinine go down. Don't worry Leah, Layton is going to be a-okay. Call me if you need anything. Hugs!
We are praying for Layton that his creatine level drops to where it should be, one more long day in the hospital is one day too many! Hang in there and call my cell when you have time (time?!! What's that?!!!)

what great news in your last journal entry!!1 Run Layton, run! You have to be so proud of both your boys. You obviously have done a good job parenting them. Way to go!!! Really look forward to your news and hope things continue to improve. God Bless!!!

I was in tears as I read how awesome Layton is doing - and how great he slept through the night! That will really help him heal and for you to feel normal again. And what a great brother Logan is - you are doing an awesome job with them!

Just fired up my computer and received the good news about Layton's Monday clinic results.. Yahoo!! Let that boy RUN. Hard to believe Logan and Grandma Mason have had to return to Minnesota. Am sure the departure was difficult for everyone. Need to set up a calendar to mark off the days before Logan will return again. Think of you all often and pray that you all have a very good week. It was great to see the picture of Logan and Layton hugging - how sweet. And I know it feels like you are on a roller coaster - but the good news is you are going in the right direction. I hope Layton is feeling better now and I'm prayng that the timing will be just right for when he should get off different meds. His body has been through so much - it takes time to heal. May you take comfort in knowing that you are all surrounded by God's army - His angels!
