Sorry it has taken me so long to update Layton's journal.  We arrived in California Wednesday evening and headed to our hotel since the Ronald McDonald House was full.  We spent Thursday morning at the clinic having some blood work done for Lee and meeting the doctor who will care for Layton right after surgery and for the duration of his stay in NICU.  We also met with the surgeon who will perform Lee and Layton's surgery.  The morning left me feeling very anxious!

We spent Friday afternoon at Half Moon Bay walking the beach.  Layton LOVED IT!!  He asked to return right away this morning.  Today we met Lee's cousin and went to a  really nice park.  Layton got to ride a kids' train and we walked down by the river and saw all the ducks and geese.  He is now napping at Lee's cousin's house as we visit. 

We are heading to the hospital to admit Layton at 4pm.  Tomorrow Lee will be admitted at 6pm.   We will keep you all updated as things progress.  Thanks again for signing the guestbook - I love to hear from everyone and thanks for the continued prayers and support.
